Hi - I’m Kristina, a small business owner who quit her job to run her small business full time in 2020. I’ve always wanted to own a business, so when the chance to take our business, Twenty Five and Pine, full time I didn’t hesitate. We started our furniture business in our basement and within a year and a half of being full time, we have moved into a commercial space. We started sharing our story on TikTok, which is where Shelby and I met. I’m excited to share all of our successes, failures, the ups and downs of building a small business with you!

I am so excited to have you along for this journey. I received a M.A. in Journalism and a M.S. in Sport Psychology from Texas Tech University in 2014 and have spent the last decade working in sports media. In 2020 I decided to start taking my woodworking hobby more seriously and launched an e-commerce business in 2021 called Homestead by Hand. Like many others who may be listening, I am now on the journey to running this business full-time and making all the major life decisions that come along with that. Our paths in life are not meant to be linear. No matter where you may be on your business or startup timeline it is my hope that this podcast will help you stop dreaming and start doing whatever it is you are wanting to do in life - because you can!
